How to Get Appointed or Elected to Boards, Commissions, and Committees
To serve on a Board, Committee or Commission can be a rewarding experience for community residents. At this orientation participants will have a chance to voice their concerns, raise questions, and learn from the experience of others on how to apply for available seats. Event participants will learn where the vacancies are in our county and the cities within the county. We are confident this will result in an educated pool of candidates who are currently underrepresented.
